"Questioning today by county prosecutor KING and City Detective Carson of Mrs. Gladys Redelfs, wife of Rev. Lambert Redelfs, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, at Lithopolis, a little village, 17 miles south of here, failed to throw any light upon the mysterious death of Mrs. Sheatsley. The interview took place in the Redelfs home at Lithopolis. Mrs. Redelfs said she visited the Sheatsley home here between noon and 1 p.m. Nov. 17. The day Mrs. Sheatsley's charred remains were found in the basement furnace of the Bexley Lutheran parsonage. Mrs. Redelfs said she was admitted to the house by Alice, the 10 year old daughter. Mrs. Sheatsley and Clarence, the 16 year old son, she said, were in the sitting room looking over some mail. [The CHRONICLE TELEGRAM, Elyria, Ohio, November 25, 1924].

NOTE: The reason I have census extractions listed for 1850 and 1860 was to try and trace her lineage. I found it odd that there were so many Courtright families of the area but couldn't find a connection to this Ina. Yet somehow, Ina came all the way from the KS and IL area to live in Fairfield Co., Ohio, where so many Courtright families resided. Many of her father Samuel's children were born in Ohio -- and it may have been Fairfield Co., Ohio. No one has posted a lineage of this specific Samuel Courtright at ancestry.com, either.
