NOTE: There are two footstones which say "Daniel" and "Magdaline". Most likely Daniel is also buried in same cemetery as wife Magdaline who died in 1854 at 77 according to tombstone. According to the cemetery book, there are two Eckhart/Eckert's buried near those footstones: Magdalina's, and also a Daniel who died Mar. 15, 1860 aged 31y 1m 2d. I'm wondering if this is the same Daniel, and the age is actually 81y rather than 31y. (After finding the below name listed in the mortality schedule, I believe it's this Daniel).

In the 1860 mortality schedule there is a Daniel Eckhart, 80y, married, born unknown, occupation listed as teacher of common schools, who died in March after 3 months duration of lung fever. Original data: Federal Mortality Census Schedules, 1850-1880 (formerly in the custody of the Daughters of the American Revolution), and Related Indexes, 1850-1880. Washington, D.C.
