Frank M. SAVAGE, 55, 4465 E. Wabash Road, died at 1 a.m. today at Woodlawn Hospital, where he had been a patient for five days.
He was born in Macy to Kenneth and Opal MUSSELMAN SAVAGE, who survive. On June 21, 1959 in Peru he married Mitzie S. MEREDITH, who survives. He farmed and worked at Rochester Metal Products for 10 years. He was a member of Macy Christian Church, Lincoln Lodge 523, Fraternal Order of Police 852 and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
Surviving with his wife and parents are two daughters, Mrs. Greg (Lisa) McMILLEN, Rochester; Mrs. David (Susie) SAVAGE, Macy; a son, Klise SAVAGE, Kewanna; four grandchildren, Melea and Garrett McMILLEN, Rochester; T.J. STEVENS and Lance STEVENS, Kewanna; a sister, Mrs. Dick (Ann) KAIN, Lexington, S.C.; two brothers, Bill SAVAGE, Toledo, Ohio; and Steve SAVAGE, Macy. Preceding in death were a grandson, Blaine McMILLEN, and a sister, Lois McCLURE.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. C. Allan HAZEN officiating. Masonic services will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday and after 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
