Denver, Colo.. Gazetteer Pub. Co.. 1901, p 123. Also listed in 1900. In 1920 he's listed as D. F. Foor, manager of the Limon Express. In 1899 he's listed as the Leader publisher in Akron.
NAME in census shows "Forrest". I found a "David Forrest Foor" b 10 Jan 1868, mother's last name BUTLER, father's FOOR, in the California death records. All I knew about Forrest previously was that he was b abt 1868 in MO. The CA death records also say he was b in MO. Since Forrest's father's name was David, I'm going to assume that this "Forrest Foor" is the same individual as that of the "David Forrest Foor" in the CA death records, even though the mother's last name is different. Brother Fred Emmett also died in California, but no maiden name is listed on his death record.
