She married, second, 4 March 1844, Erwin L. Miner, M.D. They resided in Lithopolis, Fairfield County, Ohio. Dr. Miner died 08 Apr 1869, having lived forty-seven years in one house in Lithopolis. The following account of the Silver Wedding of Dr. and Mrs. Miner, appeared in the Ohio Statesman: 'While the imposing ceremonies of the recent Presidential inauguration were being performed at Washington, our usually quiet town of Lithopolis was participating in a festive occasion, more interesting to us than even the events which were transpiring at the same time at our Capital. The fourth of March, 1869, was the twenty fifth anniversary of the marriage of Dr. and Mrs. E. L. Miner, and in honor of their silver wedding day, friends from the cities, and the towns and the country around, and even from remote ports of the Union, gathered to offer their congratulations, and the more substantial tokens of regard. Lucinda M. Converse b VT 1804. At 18, she went to Granville, Ohio, where sh was an asst. teacher at the female seminary. Several years later, she married Rev. Jonathan Peters, who lived a short time only. She then taught in Circleville and Lancaster. In 1862 she married Dr. E. L. Miner who died in 1869. Lucinda died in Lithopolis 11 Sep 1887 at 83y. "Across the street from the Elkhorn, however, stands a house whose occupants are well remembered since they were very active in the Village life. When I first remember it, it was the residence of Jacob Lehman. He was a shoemaker, who came to the Village from Middletown, or Oregon, when the hope of that site growing was given up. He was a public spirited man, as were his boys. Can I recall all their names? There were Andrew, George W., Elisha, Perry and Solomon. There were three daughters. These men were so active in the affairs of the Village that they deserve a chapter for themselves. But we must be content with brief sketches. Andrew was a farmer, and did not live in the Village at any time. George W., of course named in honor of the father of our country, was a blacksmith, and intensely interested in political affairs. About his forge gathered many of those likewise interested.... Perry Lehman was the hardware merchant for his lifetime. He was first a partner of Reuben Blackwood, and then of George Wiser. This firm was as widely known as the Village itself. Elisha and Solomon did not spend all their years in the home village, but were there so frequently as to be considered a part.", "THE VILLAGE. 1989 - "Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker got an earful Friday from a former supporter who accused them of succumbing to the triple forces of greed, lust and power, and two of their associates were sentenced to prison for tax fraud in the PTL scandal.... Earlier, at Jim Bakker's fraud trial, the Rev. Alan Kent Foor, pastor of the United Church of Christ in Beavertown, PA., testified he was a PTL follwer for 11 years before buying a lifetime partnership in the uncompleted Towers Hotel at PTL's resort in South Carolina. He demanded his money back as the scandal began to unfold, saying the Bakkers failed to follow the humble example of Jesus Christ. [Chicago Daily Herald, Chicago, IL., Sep. 9, 1989]
LOCATION: 1990 - Listed as surviving his father who died in 1990. "Rev. Alan K. of Middleburg".
According to Pennsylvania Department of State Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs online database, an Alan K. Foor was issued a real estate license in 1964 which expired in 1988. The employer listed was Percy C. Foor.
The following is posted on the First Congretional Church of the United Church of Christ website, Concord, NH, 2003.
"In the fall of 1984, I was getting ready to leave my first parish in central Pennsylvania, but had not yet been formally called to the church in North Carolina. In Pennsylvania, I was blessed with a cohesive fellowship of pastors who had gathered to ordain me, and then, given me much encouragement and support in my first years of ministry.
That October, we received news that the son of Alan Foor, one of the pastors in that Association, had been killed. He was a highway construction worker, and he'd been hit by a car speeding by his work site. Alan's son was in his young twenties, and he left behind a wife and a baby.
It seemed as if every pastor in the Association came to that funeral. Sitting there, I recall being very much in touch with the scariness of it all. How, I wondered, does a pastor cope with such a loss? When and how will Alan be able to get up into the pulpit again? And, more to that present moment, what can a preacher say at a funeral such as this?
The preacher for that service was the Rev. Horace Sills, our conference minister. Horace had guided me as I has pursued ordination and my first call to a local church. A few years later, he would come to North Carolina to baptize Caleb. Now, Horace himself has gone on to glory. But then, on that hard day, in that packed church, Horace stood up and offered us as his text the passage we heard this morning from the Letter to the Hebrews. "As it is, we do not see everything in subjection to him, but we do see Jesus." Needless to say, Horace's message made a huge impression on me, given that I remember it after nineteen years. Actually, whenever I read this verse, that day and that sermon come back to me with a presence and a vigor that humbles and blesses me. "
2007 - listed as a surviving son, Rev. Alan K. Foor and his wife, Shirley, in mother's July 2007 obit.

NOTE: A written error is on the line following William H. The name for the head-of-household of the NEXT family was written in where the last child for the Kendall family should be. The person was 17y. The name was erased, and then written on the correct line, but no new name was written over the erasure. I'm assuming since the person was 17, that it was Marcus.

Conrad [Ward]. Name definitely looks more like Ward than Ware, but believe
this is the correct family:
Two males 5-10 (Israel, Conrath)
one male 10-15 (Johannes)
One male 15-20 (Jonathan)
one male 50-60 (father)
one female under 5
one female 20-30 (Elizabeth)

Ellen/Eleanor would be in the 5-10 bracket but there's none listed.

"John Stallsmith, son of William Stallsmith, the saddler, was a versatile writer, something after the style of Artemus Ward. He was a frequent contributor to the local paper.
