Below info sent to me via email from Scott Bradley, July 2000.
-------------
From a booklet my family has from a distant relative
entitled "The Descendants of John Bradley (1783-1860)
and Joanna (Fitzgerald) Bradley (1786-1864)" by
Chester D. Bradley written in 1975:

"ii. JAMES MONROE BRADLEY, son of Henry and Mary
Bradley, was born about 22 October 1836 in Pickaway
County, Ohio. Like his three brothers, Andrew, John
and Philip, he was taken to Indiana at an early age
and brought back to Ohio by his father after the death
of his mother. He married NAOMI CULP of Pickaway
County, Madison Township, 4 April 1858. Born about
1842, she was the daughter of Henry and Sarah
(Spangler) Culp. James Monroe was a millwright. He
and his wife went out to Miami County shortly after
1862. They settled in the village of Waupecong in
Clay Township, where James Monroe Bradley ran a flour
mill. He died before my time, but I always heard my
elders speak of him as "Uncle Monroe." He died 6
March 1890, aged 53. His wife Naomi died 22 March
1922. This couple had at least four children, Henry
J. (1859-1943)*, Mary (1861-1893), Edson (1864-1870),
and Sarah (1868-1890). The first two of these
children were born in Ohio. James Monroe and Naomi
Bradley and their four children are all buried in the
Clymer Cemetary in Deer Creek Township, Miami County,
Indiana. Monroe was a Methodist."
