Born April 15, 1892, in Cypher, she was a daughter of James and Elizabeth (FOOR) DODSON. She was united in marriage to George K. LOCKE, who preceded her in death Sept 24, 1953.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Albert LaVerne PORTER, Breezewood; Mrs. Robert McELWAIN, Saxton; Kenneth LOCKE, Baltimore, MD; Mrs. Ralph HORTON, Hopewell; Mrs. William SCALLA, Baltimore; Mrs. Frank FOOR, Everett; Mrs. Robert MELLOTT, Everett; Mrs. Ann ECKLEY, Everett; Delford C. LOCKE, Baltimore; 27 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Bertha HUGHES, Aliquippa.
Mrs. LOCKE was a member of the Cypher Christian Church. Funeral services were conducted at the Masood funeral chapel, Saxton. The Rev Coy FOOR officiated. Interment was made in the Bethel Cemetery, Tatesville.

Paul G. "Doodle Bug" FOOR, 75, of Six Mile Run Road, Six Mile Run, went
to be with his Lord Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at his home. Born May 29,
1929, in Central City, he was the son of the late Dewey E. and Lennie V.
(Bequeth) Foor. On Oct. 7, 1950, in Cumberland, Md., he was united in
marriage to Anna Ruth Kramer, who preceded him in death July 6, 1996. He
is survived by four daughters and three sons; Connie D. Cottle, and her
husband, Fred, of Everett; Sam J. Foor of Defiance; Tina C. Musselman.
and her husband, Dwayne, of Hopewell; Pam J. Dreffs of Cleveland, Ohio;
Dwayne H. Foor of Defiance; V. Stephanie Siemen, and her husband, John,
of Lakewood, Ohio; and James Aller, and his wife, Sharon, of White
Church. He is also survived by the following grandchildren; Ronnie Paul
Thomas, Shawn Thomas, Michelle Ried, John Thomas, Chris Collare, Kristy
Musselman, Joni Horton, Sherry Hanks, Jim Aller, Travis Aller, Sean
Aller, Matthew Siemen, Craig Siemen and Ryan Siemen, as well as 15
great-grandchildren. Four sisters and four brothers survive; Edith Cooks
of Everett; Emmit L. Foor Sr., and his wife Lola, of Saxton; Jack Foor
of White Church; Viola Mae Chamberlain, and her husband, Garfield, of
Defiance; John R. Foor, and his wife, Mary, of Breezewood; Susannah
Morse of Breezewood; Myrtle Miller of Everett; and Chet "Butch" Foor of
Six Mile Run. He is also survived by five nieces and one nephew. He was
preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers, Harry Foor and Russ
Foor. Mr. Foor was of the Protestant faith. He worked for many years in
the coal mines, and was later employed by Hempt Brothers Construction
until his retirement. He played music all of his life. In recent years,
he played in a band, "Country Blend," with his brothers and nephew. Mr.
Foor will be remembered as a wonderful father, grandfather,
great-grandfather and brother. His greatest loves were his family,
music, mud racing and hunting. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 28, at the LongAkers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church St.,
Saxton, with Pastor Marion G. Foor officiating. Interment will be made

Retired from U.S. Air Force as a special agent
James W. Grim, 53, of 14362 Mountain Road, Orrstown, died at 7:03 a.m. Sunday, January 17, 1999, in the emergency room of Chambersburg Hospital.
Born August 20, 1945, in Waynesburg, he was a son of the late Woodrow W. and Alberta Lilley Grim.
He retired from the U.S. Air Force in December 1986 with 22 1/2 years of service. He served as special agent for the Office of Special Investigations, and he attained the rank of master sergeant. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed by the U.S. government as a criminal investigator with the Harrisburg office since 1987.
Mr. Grim was a 1964 graduate of Mapletown High School, Greensboro, and he attended Shippensburg University.
He was a member of Upper Strasburg Church of God. He was active in church and community youth groups. He had been named Sunday School Superintendent of the Year and Youth Sunday School Teacher of the Year by the Churches of God in Pennsylvania.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia A. Foor Grim, whom he married February 21, 1970; two sisters, Linda Hixenbaugh and Bonnie Sczyrback, both of Carmichaels; his stepmother, Lena Grim of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
An aunt and an uncle, James and Dorothy Lilley, live in Carmichaels.
He and his wife made their home with the Rev. Caroline Smith.

Obituary: Ruth (Miller) Locke, 92, of 13 Arden Road died Friday in The Medical
Center of Central Massachusetts - Hahnemann after an illness.
Her husband, Bernard B. Locke, died many years ago. She leaves two daughters,
Marion D. Waters of Worcester and Barbara L. Foor of Waterford, Conn.; eight
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was born in Berlin, Germany,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Miller, and lived here most of her life.
Mrs. Locke was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Nordgren, Carrigan, Mangsen
Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. There are no
calling hours.

FOOR, NAOMIE R. 65, of Springfield, died Monday, July 19, 2004 in Castle Knoll Care Center. She was born May 28, 1939 in Washington Court House, Ohio the daughter of Lawrence A. and Lucy M. (Stokesbury) Taylor. Naomie was a high school graduate, a homemaker most of her life and a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Survivors include two brothers, Lawrence A. Taylor, Jr. and Don D. Taylor; two sisters, Grace V. Taylor and Phoebe E. Royce all of Springfield; step son, Charles E. Foor, Jr.; nephews, Larry Taylor, Jr. of West Virginia, Russell Carl and Donald E. Taylor both of Springfield; and numerous nieces, cousins and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Foor in September of 1975 and her parents. Her body was entrusted to the WOODS-ALLGIER FUNERAL HOME where friends may call one hour prior to funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor John Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
