Round Knob - Beaver Ritchey, one of our young men, met with a fatal accident while working in Brownsville, PA. While loading a cargo of coal, his foot slipped and he fell into the water. As he came to the top, a boat that was passing struck him on the head and he died four hours later. He is survived by his parents, of Round Knob, two brothers, Marshall and Paul, both at home, and four sisters, Ruth, at home; Mrs. William Boorder [sic], of Round Knob; Mrs. Lloyd Chamberlain, of Coaldale; and Mrs. Paul Krett, of Huntingdon. He was aged 23 years, 8 months and 11 days. The funeral was held on Friday at the Graceville church. He will be missed in our neighborhood by his young companions.
