NOTE: It almost appears the census taker got sidetracked when adding the entry for the Fry's. He writes down Kenneth, but then lists him as a daughter rather than son-in-law, and also shows he has no occupation whereas all the males in this house of age have occupations. It looks to me like the data is actual for his daughter, and not for his son-in-law.

LOCATION: 1926 - listed as a surviving daughter, "Mrs. Sol Lehman of Winchester" in mother's August 1927 obituary.
I'm assuming the following text is in error when it mentions his second wife's name. Osborne is her maiden name, not the first name of her first husband, or perhaps they were referring to her prior name as Mrs. Mary Osborne Alspaugh". Whichever the case, it's a bit deceiving: "Mr. [Solomon S.] Lehman has been married twice. His first wife, who bore the maiden name of Sarah M. Hott, was born in 1851 and departed this life in 1899. For his second wife Mr. Lehman wedded Mrs. Osborne Alspaugh, who was born in Fairfield county, Ohio, in 1856. By her first marriage she had two children, Chauncey D. Alspaugh and Mrs. Lyda G. Lehman." Taylor, William Alexander. History of Columbus and Franklin County, Ohio, Vol. 1, Chicago: S.J. Clarke Publishing Co., 1909, p 322.
OBIT: Mrs. Mary Lehman, 77, Canal Winchester, died Dec. 19, at home of daughter, Mrs. S. D. Lehman. She leaves 1 son, C. D. Alspach of Carroll; 2 brothers, B. W. and J. L. Osborne of Columbus; 1 sister, Mrs. E. H. Harrison of Delaware. Body was removed to J. E. Grimes funeral home, Canal Winchester, where funeral will be held Friday, 2 p.m. Burial Union Grove Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
