Hand written history of Margaret which appears to be a copy of an obit (?)
Died at 80y 3m 23d
OBIT: "Daily Sentinel Tribune", Wood County, OH, 03 Dec 1941 p 1.
Funeral services were held at the Mt. Pleasant Church at 1:30 PM on Saturday for Mrs. Margaret Foor of Grand Rapids. Rev. Lyle Loomis officiated at the services and interment was made in the Shunk Cemetery.
Margaret Foor, daughter of Henry and Mary Elizabeth Dauber, was born August 2, 1861 near Bloomville, Seneca County, Ohio. At the age of 2 and a half years she moved with her parents to Henry County where she grew to womanhood.
On March 1883 she was united in marriage with Alvin S. Foor and to this union 9 children were born, six of whom are living.
Mrs. Foor departed this life at the setting of the sun, Nov., 25, 1941, at her home in Grand Rapids, Ohio, after an illness of more than two years, at the age of 80 years, three months and 23 days. She leaves to mourn their loss, five daughters, May Strayer, Amanda Keeler, Dollie Barnes, Daisy Ross and Joy Foor; one son, Grove; 29 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and hosts of other relatives and friends. The husband preceded her in death seven years ago.
Mother Foor was the last member to pass away of a family of 11 children. She was a devoted mother, a good Christian woman, and admired by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed, and a vacant space is left that never can be filled. There is only one Mother, and when she is gone, there is no other. The clock of life is wound but once and no man has the power to tell when the hands will stop, at late or early hour. Nos is the only time yooou own, live, love, work with a will. Place little faith in tomorrow for the clock may then be still.

1903 - D. T. Kyger and Will Foor went to Waitsburg today to attend the funeral of Miss Calla Morrow. [The Evening Statesman, Walla Walla, WA, June 26, 1903, p 8]
1904, June 30. - In an article about an upcoming parade, it mentions "Will Foor began decorating the liberty car today. An immense stuffed eagle will perch on the highest part of the canopy over the Goddess of Liberty and a beautiful and striking combination of the national colors has been designed for the decoration of the car itself". [The Evening Statesman, Walla Walla, WA., June 30, 1904]
1904, July 2nd - " All Arrangements For the Fourth of July Celebration are Complete" ... "The float representing the state of Washington is just completed. It is decidedly unique and original in design. The decorating of the float is entirely the work of Will Foor. He is responsible for it all. From the conception of the design to the evergreens for trimming. Green and white bunting is the trimming. From a raised canopy in the center, where the young lady representing the state of Washington will sit, strings of evergreen pass to four gypsum pillars on the corners, representing Washington the 'Evergreen State'...". [The Evening Statesman, Walla Walla, WA., July 2, 1904, p 5]
1905 - "William Foor, who has been employed for fifteen years in D. T. Kyger's store will leave Walla Walla for Seattle March 11 to remain. Mr. Foor will be accompanied to Seattle by his mother". [The Evening Statesman, Walla Walla, WA., Feb. 21, 1905, p 5]
1905 - "A very swell affair was the banquet given Friday evening at the Hotel Dacres, in honor of Mr. William Foor, who leaves this evening for Seattle, which city he intends making his future home. Those present were Messrs. George Thompson, Arthur Thompson, Fred Weir, William Shortzer, Dale H. Preston, Platt Morrow of Waitsburg; Chester Offner, Otto Frank, Bradley Upton, William Upton, Charles Dement, Richard Buford, Ransom Glafke, William Moffatt, B. O. Driver, William Chandler, Joseph Lutcher." [The Evening Statesman, Walla Walla, WA., March 11, 1905, p 2]
Jan 1910 - "John Foor Improving. Reports from the Walla Walla hospital last night were to the effect that the attending physicians entertain considerable hope for the ultimate recovery of John Foor, the well known painter who has been seriously ill for the past several days. Mr. Foor's mother and son, William Foor, of Seattle, the latter a former resident of this city, arrived in Walla Walla yesterday and were very much relieved to know of the rally of their son and brother". [The Evening Statesman, Walla Walla, WA. January 17, 1910, p 5]
1910 - Jan 21. "Foor Likes Walla Walla. William S. Foor, formerly chief clerk in the Dan Kyger store on Main street, but now living in Seattle is in the city this week and is loud in his praise of Walla Walla. Having left here five years ago, Mr. Foor was able to appreciate the changes being wrought on every side and his surprise at the thrift and industry of his old home town was great. Speaking of the city, he said: 'Your stores here are more on the order of those of Seattle than any other town in the northwest for they are classy. Though maybe not so large as those of Bellingham, or Everett, they are far superior to those of those cities and carry a much better stock of goods. They are metropolitan. I can see important changes on every hand, too, and it does not seem that this can be the little town I left. I only hope it maintains this pace'. Mr. Foor is connected with Hoff Brothers in Seattle, being engaged in the manufacture and sale of post cards and art leather goods. As a sample of what business in this line is on the coast, he stated that during the Christmas months, an average of 250,000 post cards were sold each month to five stores of that city. Mr. Foor is now in the city assisting in caring for his brother, John Foor, who has been very ill". [The Evening Statesman, Walla Walla, WA., Jan. 21, 1910, p 5].

1924 - Saturday afternoon as O. L. Wise, county agent of Whiteside county and
formerly Clinton county agent, was bringing his two daughters, Midlred and
Mabel from their home in Morrison, for a visit at the home of their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Foor in DeWitt, a car driven by a Rock
Island man skidded on the hill about a mile east of town and completely
demolished the Wise car. No one was hurt and as Mr. and Mrs. Clifford
McDonald were on their way to DeWitt, they brought the two young ladies with
them. [Democrat and Leader, Davenport, IA; Feb. 18, 1924]

All ch show fa b IA, ma b IL. For Mildred and Donald there is a hyphen after their name with an "Ab". I thought it was "Ad" for perhaps "adopted" but it looks more like "Ab" to me.
