Mary G. Chase
Mary Glee Chase, 53, of Battle Creek died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1947, in Cadillac to Leonard and Marian (Haynes) Bridson. She attended schools in Manton and resided there until moving to Battle Creek in 1994.
She married James Calvin Chase on Aug. 25, 1994, in Battle Creek. He survives.
Also surviving are sons, Timothy Wilkerson, Tommy Wilkerson of Cadillac and David Wilkerson of Roscommon; daughter, Darlyn Wilkerson of Cadillac; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her mother, Marian Foor of Manton; brothers, Kenneth and John Foor, both of Manton; stepdaughters, Izetta Alsoup, Silvia Stapelton, Stephanie Ponitzel of Germany and Tina Burbank; and stepsons, Ricky Chase and James Chase Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Kenneth Foor; and a brother, Larry Bridson.
Community involvement, hobbies: Enjoyed bingo, reading and time with family.
Visitation: After 2 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday at Bachman Hebble Funeral Service.
Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Schwartz officiating.
Burial: Fairview Cemetery, Manton.

LANCASTER: Pauline V. Clark, 85, of Lancaster, went home to be with the Lord (John 14: 1-6) on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. Born to the late Dora and Russell Carmean of Ross County, Pauline was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Joseph; sons, Kevin and Keith; daughters, Julie (John) Solomon, Kelly (Dave) Adams, and Tracy (Steve) Kraft; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy (Lloyd) Stump, Patsy McLaughlin; brother, Russell Carmean; and many nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her brothers, Willard and Warren Carmean; and her sister, Kathryn Bradley.
Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. on Monday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, with Pastor Charles Flesher officiating. Interment at Betzer Cemetery.

OBIT: Max R. Foor, 91, of Arcola, passed away at 3:43 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Ashton Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center, Fort Wayne.
Born on July 11, 1921, in Gladwin, Mich. he was the son of Ericus E. and Edna Grace (Robinson) Foor.
Max was raised in Etna Township, Whitley County where he attended school and then graduated from Wolf Lake High School with the Class of 1940.
On June 28, 1942, he married Imogene "Jean" E. Heintzelman at Ormas Baptist Church.
He served during World War II with the U.S. Army as T-Sgt. from 1942-46. Max was then employed for 39 years with the Wabash and Norfolk Southern Railroads.
His memberships included the Arcola/Lake Chapel United Methodist Church and the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving relatives include his two children, Steven P. (Tonya) Foor of Angola and Judith J. (Coby) Zelt of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren, Kristopher Foor, Kevin (Ann) Zelt, Terry (Kathy) Zelt and Brent (Jennifer) Zelt; four great-grandsons, Nick, Coty, Nash and Brian Zelt and one sister, Ruth Yanuszeski of Columbia City.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Imogene E. Foor and one grandson, M. Michael Foor.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
A volunteer fireman's memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastors Donna Gammon and Marilyn Dunten officiating. The burial will follow at South Park (Annex) Cemetery, Columbia City with graveside military rites conducted by the Korean War Veteran's Honor Guard.
Memorial bequest may be given in Mr. Foor's memory to the Arcola Volunteer Fire Department.

Pamela J. Calhoon, 70, of Baltimore, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014.
Pamela was a member of Gloryland Church of the Nazarene in Carroll, where she was the president of the Missionary Society. Pamela was a pastor’s wife and has always been involved in many aspects of the church community including playing the piano, children’s ministries, office work, to wherever help was needed.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert Calhoon; sons, Aaron P. Calhoon and Mark S. (Laura) Calhoon; 5 granddaughters; mother, Esther Jeffrey; brothers and sisters, Anita (Jerry) Donaldson, Gwen (Doug) Walker, Jon David (Becky) Jeffrey, Penny (Dan) Duffy, and Doug (Michelle) Jeffrey; and many nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, David Jeffrey.
Funeral service for Pamela will be held at 10:00 am Monday at Gloryland Church of the Nazarene, 3570 Coonpath Rd NW, Carroll, Ohio 43112 with Pastor Mark Clingan officiating. Burial will follow in Betzer Cemetery, Carroll. Family and friends may visit from 5 to 8 pm Sunday at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S Main St, Baltimore, Ohio 43105 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Donations may be made in memory of Pamela to the Gloryland Missions, 3570 Coonpath Rd NW, Carroll, Ohio 43112.

Clare Orville Klein, Clare Orville Klein, 88, a long-time resident of Gladwin, passed away
Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Mid Michigan Stratford Village, Midland.
He was born June 24, 1915, in Gladwin to the late Harley and Gertrude
(Foor) Klein. He married the former Mildred Hetherington on Dec. 19,
1936, in Pontiac and they shared 57 years before Mildred's death in
1993.
Mr. Klein was a farmer in Gladwin Township and worked for Dell Smith
Furniture Store for many years and then Robinson Industries, Coleman
until his retirement in 1975.
He is survived by son, Greg (Elleen) Klein of Gladwin, daughter Yvonne
(Don) Hall of Midland, son-in-law, Charles Balyeat of Flint, sister, Crystal
(Harold) McAllister of White Lake; brother, Ward (Stella) Klein of
Gladwin; sister-in-laws Doris Klein of Arizona, Nellie Barsuhn of Midland
and Irene Hetherington of Gladwin; brother-in-law Don Hetherington of
Missouri as well as his grand-children Brian Balyeat of Holly, Tamara
Balyeat of Durand and David and Nicole Klein of Gladwin; four Great
grandchildren; four step children, Kris (Doug) Fetterolf, Mark McKenna,
Steven McKenna, Shawn McKenna all of Gladwin. He was preceded in
death by his parents, wife Mildred, daughter Marjorie Balyeat, sister
Gladis and brother Ray.
Clare loved his church and attended faithfully and he took great
pleasure in his grandchildren (David and Nicole) who lived close by. He
enjoyed attending Nicole's dance recitals and their piano
recitals,basketball games, track meets and especially David's baseball
games at Gladwin High School, American Legion and Olivet College.
Funeral services will take place at the Gladwin Free Methodist Church
under the direction of Pastor Phillip Hortop with burial at McCLure
Cemetary at a date and time to be determined. Clare's family will receive
friends at Sisson Funeral Home, Gladwin, at a date and time to be
determined.
