Stewart Hanna passed away on February 25, following complications related to a stroke he suffered on February 11. He was born on April 3, 1943, in Boulder, Colorado, and raised in Branford, Connecticut. Already a master welder, he moved to California in 1968 and got a degree in sociology from Humboldt State. He married Linda Foor Hanna and had two daughters: Alethea and Darcy. He lived in Westhaven and worked as a logger until 1980, when he moved to Vina, CA to run a cattle ranch and walnut orchard. He died in San Marcos, Texas, where he had moved in 2007 to be near his grandchildren. He was very funny, a singular storyteller who was both exceedingly modest and unforgettably outlandish. He is survived by his former wife; his two daughters; his grandchildren, Ruby and Blaze Gordon; his sister, Jean Larson; and his brother, James Hanna. He will be dearly missed. NOTE: There are currently 5 gedcoms on ancestry.com by various posters that have exactly the same data, obviously copied from one to another. All show that Henry Kramer married Sarah Bumbarger 10 Jan 1857 in Fairfield Co., Ohio. Sarah was b 29 Jul 1837 in Fairfield Co., Ohio and died 03 Apr 1872 in Logansport, IN. No parents shown for Sarah. Children showed for marriage but just approximate dates and no locations. No sources listed. There is one, however, that shows this same Henry married Sarah Heller, and that is also my assumption. I can't find any Bumbarger or Kramer/Cramer in 1857 marriages that would appear to be this couple. The only thing I could think of is that perhaps Sarah had divorced and remarried someone by the name of Bumbarger, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Cline cemetery, the cemetery in which both of his known wives were buried, is a tombstone for a Henry Kramer with just the birth year of 1838 on it. The stone matches that of his second wife, Anna, whose stone shows "1850-1919". Wife Sarah's stone is difficult to read... Sarah, wife of H. Kramer, died ----- 1872? aged ------. It looks like it could be readable if the image was bigger.
"Henry Kramer, dealer in general merchandise, Royal Centre, Ind., is a native of Fairfield County, Ohio, where he was born Aug. 1, 1837. His father, Lewis Kramer, is also a native of Fairfield Co., Ohio and was born February 4, 1817. In the fall of 1865, Mr. Lewis Kramer and family moved to Cass County, Ind., settling upon the same farm on which he at present resides in section 33, Boone Township, where he has lived since. He has had born to him fourteen children, viz.: Almina, Aaron, Emma, Hannah M., Eliza, Martha E., Joshua, William, Adeline, Mary, Minerva, Elizabeth, Clement L. His wife died April 3, 1872, and on February 23, 1873, he wedded Anna McLaughlin, and in July of that year he moved to Boone township where he purchased a farm in section 14, upon which he resided until 1883, in which year he moved to Royal Centre, and in the following year began the mercantile business again, which he has since continued.
