NOTE: Although this is obviously the same family as seen in the 1880 census,
the dates for the children are very skewed. Daughter Mary is shown in
baptismal records as being born in Feb 1864, yet she only aged 10 years
between the 1880 and 1900 census and is shown as being born in Feb 1874 and
only 26 years old. Son Thurman is shown as being now older than son Charles
-- Thurman being born June 1875 and Charles in Mar 1877 -- yet their draft
registration cards shown the exact opposite... Charles in June 1875 and
Thurman in March 1877.

"William Wallace Talbott, M. D., born 9 Oct 1798, probably in Calvert co.; married, about 1823, Elizabeth Hoshor; died about 1886. In a letter to one of his nephews in 1880 he said: 'I came to Fairfield co., Ohio, late in the fall of 1822, and it has generally been my home since. My grandmother was a Morgan. Her husband was an Allnutt. Of their children, all died without issue except my mother, Mary Talbott, formerly Mary Allnutt. Her sons were, as set forth above, Patrick, William, Zechariah and John Allnutt. Her daughters, Elizabeth, Hannah and Mary, long since dead, had no issue now living. Many books, containing the genealogy of some of our ancestors, were burned in a chapel in Calvert co., Md., many years since'". : Original data: Shirk, Ida Morrison Murphy,.
