Every year I hear about Foor Family Reunions taking place accross the country. Many of you have emailed me asking if I knew of any of the particulars for these reunions. I do not. However, I would be more than happy to post the information here for your reunions. Please email me with the information, such as the date, time, and location of the reunion, as well as an email contact. If you are privy to an agenda for the reunion, names of those who've attended past reunions, reunion photos, etc., I'd be more than happy to post those as well. 1929 - Harry Young, Mervin Young, George and Lorrenzo Meck and Earl Clark attended the Foor reunion last Saturday. [August 9, 1929]
1931 - Quite a number of folks attended the Foor reunion at Ray's Cove on last Saturday. A large attendance and a fine time for everybody was reported. [Aug 7, 1931]
1946 - "Friends Cove" Carl Foor and family attended the Foor reunion in Rays Cove Saturday [August 8, 1946]
1950 - Snake Springs - a number of people from the Valley attended the Foor Reunion at Rays Cove on last Saturday. [Aug. 11, 1950]
1951 - Aug. 4, Annual Foor Reunion. Program includes WFMD Familyar Hymes at 1:30 p.m.; dedication of memorial at 2:15 p.m.; sports events at 3:30 p.m.; a gospel film in the evening. [ [Bedford Gazette, Bedford, PA, Aug 3, 1951]
1952 - Bids will be received by the members of the undersigned committee for the operation of the food stand at the Foor Reunion Aug 1. Bids will be submitted by July 19, 1952. 1955 - "Reunions", Aug. 6 - Foor 46th annual reunion, grove of Rays Cove Christian Church. Games and entertainment for all. [Aug. 6, 1955]
